Nobel Prize Winners - Mr.Thomas C. Südhof at Kempinski Hotel Taiyuan

23 October 2014, Taiyuan:  Mr Thomas C. Südhof – who is the co-awardee of the 2013 Nobel Prize in physiology / medicine for work on vesicle trafficking – stayed at Kempinski Hotel Taiyuan. Hotel Staff warmly welcomed him with flowers and specially prepared honey-vinegar drink.

Professor Südhof is a German-American biochemist well known for his study of synaptic transmission and now he is a professor at Stanford University. Before the 2013 Nobel Prize, he also won the 2013 Albert Lasker Award for Basic Medical Research.

This time, Mr Südhof is invited to attend the second Global Health Conference. The subject of the conference is "Quality Life Comes from Health", and the participants will discuss how to grab new opportunities presented by new technology and how to adapt the new challenges brought by the reform of the median-sanitary system under the background of “Health".
