The fifth Anniversary Charity Sochelnik in support of the Deti-Babochki foundation took place on December 17
On December 17 2017, together with PrincipePRMedia, we organised the Fifth Anniversary Charity Sochelnik in St. Petersburg at the Hermitage Theatre Stage.
The total amount of funds collected that evening reached 1,160,000 rubles and will go towards Deti Bela, which under the patronage of the famous Russian actress Ksenia Rappoport to help children who are affected by epidermolysis bullosa (EB), a rare genetic skin condition that causes blisters.
At the Bolshoy Puppet theatre performance: “The Christmas Tree Mystery” was staged starring Ksenia Rappoport and Anatoliy Belyy.
Producer Ruslan Kudashov utilised two very important poems for Russian culture: Candlemas by Joseph Brodsky and the Christmas Song by Oleg Grigoriev. The main character of this history is the Christmas Tree, which provides safety by hiding the Saint’s family. The puppet personages the Bunny, the Wolf pup, and Teddy Bear were chasing each other, and became the guides of this Biblical parable. The performance achieved an “Еру Gold Soffit” higher theatre award nomination (for the best in puppet theatre and the best character in puppet theatre).
Following the performance, guests were invited to the traditional New Year Party at the Kempinski Hotel Moika 22. A Christmas feast was offered with a beautiful backdrop: a natural six-metre high Christmas tree, which was decorated by the designers of the luxury watch house Breguet. Guests had an opportunity to look at the new models of Breguet watches, which were presented by the general partner of Sochelnik – Tourbillon boutique in St. Petersburg.
The idea of a Christmas Sochelnik is integral to the magical history of our city. All Sochelnik guests were able to provide direct help to the Deti-Babochki Charity Foundation at the touch of a button by using the special wire-free payment system.
This year, together with the guests of our Sochelnik at the Hermitage Theatre and the New Year’s party in the hotel, we were pleased to welcome representatives of other charity foundations and organisations: AdVita, Perspectives, The parents and children of organisations supporting dyslexia, Stars to Children, Big Brothers, Big Sisters, who all came together to enjoy the festive season with children through a variety of special interactive programmes.
The main organisers of Sochelnik on Moika – Kempinski Hotel Moika 22 and PrincipePRMEdia agency greatly appreciate all who contributed and supported our project and the Deti-Babochki Charity Foundation activity, which is doing important work to help children who are affected by epidermolysis bullosa (EB).
