Peterhof Golf Club
Peterhof Golf Club has just been opened. From the beginning of summer 2017, St Petersburg has been offering not just a new high-quality 18-hole golf field, but a field with a grand city status. The golf club is located directly in Peterhof, next to the Alexandria Park and Mikhailovka, the former summer residence of the Romanov family. Such a unique location can make the game of any golfer a time of royal elegance of high-class society.
Just 30 minutes’ drive from Nevsky Prospekt in the centre of St Petersburg takes golf professionals and beginners to an 18-hole championship field (par 71), equipped with the Golf Academy, a pro shop and a restaurant.
Initially built on the design of Greg Norman (Greg Norman Golf Course Design), the field, in the future, passed into the hands of Steve Forrest. Perhaps, in this “two-fatherhood”, as well as in the intertwining of history and modernity, lies its secret. Amazing and breathtaking views take golfers to classic links, a traditional Russian park and an exotic hitland – all at one and the same time and still in the suburb of St Petersburg.
