Christmas Market at Kempinski Hotel Moika 22

From year to year, in December and January, Kempinski Hotel Moika 22 turns into a living Nutcracker fairytale. The gorgeous six-foot Christmas tree in the lobby is beautifully decorated and greets the hotel’s guests along with toy figures of Mice, a Mouse Queen and a Nutcracker.

Aromas of pine, mandarins and ginger cookies are intertwined in the air while musicians on the piano and violin play charming Christmas melodies every day. Crackling wood in open fireplaces warm guests while they have breakfast in the Blue Dining Hall or enjoy tea in the Tea Room, which resembles a true gingerbread house during these festive months. Lovely Christmas trees decorated with splendid toys add a special magic mood to the ambience at Bellevue Brasserie restaurant, the Von Witte Bar, the Tea Room and the Atrium. In fact, that magic mood can be felt in each and every part of the hotel.

This year, the little Christmas Market will be open in the center of the lobby at Kempinski Hotel Moika 22. Throughout December and until the Russian Christmas in January, delicious, sweet gifts, handmade by a pastry chef and chocolatiers, will be offered daily. Here, you can buy your friends, loved ones or colleagues a little gingerbread house, Christmas cookies, Stollen, exquisite pralines, sachets of chocolate, marmalade or Christmas apples, or other sweet delights. While choosing a sweet gift, you may have mulled wine with hot almonds or treat your child with cotton candy, fully enjoying the fairytale atmosphere of the hotel.

Traditional Christmas concerts will be held daily as evening musical miniatures at Kempinski Hotel Moika 22 in December. These performances are famous in St Petersburg and always attract adults and children. They add a special, elegant and touching tone to the festive ambience at the hotel.

Kempinski Hotel Moika 22 has created special menus in the restaurants and bars, as well as for room service, and a festive banquet menu to allow guests to celebrate New Year's Eve, Catholic Christmas on 24 and 25 December and Russian Christmas on 7 January in a high-class manner.
