Christmas "Bush de Noel" is a French chocolateroulade, which is served at the Christmas table as a symbol of happiness in France. This tradition dates back to the medieval tradition of burning a Christmas log to protect the house from evil spirits and misfortune for the coming year.

Christophe Laplaza and Brian Gartner, French by birth and great masters of cooking, have created a delicious dessert. Panna cottaof passion fruit with mousse of milk Valrhonachocolate together with crispy praline and delicate biscuit make an exquisite combination,which brings an exciting gourmet experience and guarantees a wonderful festive mood.

In some parts of France, Christmas celebrations start on 6 December, which is St. Nicholas Day. On this day, the French Santa Claus Pere Noel brings gifts and sweets to good children. Christmas is widely celebrated throughout December, until Christmas Eve, and "Bush de Noel" is the most famous, the must-have dessert on the holiday table.

"During the last month of the year, we are gathering for Sunday family dinners more often than usual. From 1 December 2016 until 7 January 2017, Kempinski Hotel Moika 22 will present its own Christmas market, opening daily from 9:00am until 8:00pm in the hotel lobby, so that everyone has the opportunity to buy delicious, sweet gifts for Christmas and New Year.

Here, anyone can buy friends, loved ones or colleagues a little gingerbread house, Christmas cookies, stollen, exquisite pralines, sachets of chocolate, marmalade or Christmas apples, or other sweet delights handmade by the hotel's pastry chef and chocolatiers.
