St Moritz does fit

St Moritz does fit

At the start of the summer season, on 17 June 2016, Kempinski Grand Hotel des Bains in St Moritz welcomes its guests with bespoke sports and leisure activities. Together with the new Activity Concierge and sports scientist Wolfgang Hoffmann, the relaxed luxury hotel offers individual sports programmes. Whether sailing, kitesurfing, mountain biking or hiking, Hoffmann goes exactly by the wishes, needs and the condition of each guest. He also accompanies them on guided tours and supports them in their training in the mountains.

Also, Swiss professional triathlete and Ironman World Champion Daniela Ryf has acquired a taste and uses the sporty services of Kempinski Grand Hotel des Bains.

"The Engadine offers ideal conditions for an ambitious and especially intensive altitude training just now. When I was preparing for the upcoming Ironman in October, the place of my training was one of the most important things," says Daniela Ryf. "Here I have everything. I can go cycling, swimming and running and all over 1,800 m above sea level – just perfect," explains the successful triathlete. He added, "During my two-month stay at Kempinski St Moritz, I also used the support of Wolfgang Hoffmann. He knows the valley like his pocket and knows where you can really enjoy a workout in the Engadine."

Whether personal training, ice skating, skydiving, fishing, climbing, swimming, gliding or golf, with more than 100 different sports and leisure activities available, people of all ages can enhance their interests and learn together with Activity Concierge Wolfgang Hoffmann in an active way that St Moritz and the Engadine know.

Grand Hotel des Bains is situated in the sporting heart of St Moritz. Just a few metres from the house is the signal cable car, which takes skiers in winter, and bikers and hikers in the mountains in summer, directly to the mountain area of Corviglia. The hotel is the ideal starting point for all indoor and outdoor activities in and around St Moritz.
