Chef Federico Mainardi hails from Italy and has perfected his expertise of his country’s cuisine over his 10-year career. He graduated from the Professional Institute of Hotels and Catering “Orio Vergani” Ferrara and started out his culinary journey working in Italy before his work took him to Switzerland, Spain, the USA, Mauritius, and Australia. Having honed his skills working all over the globe, most recently as Chef de Cuisine at the prestigious One&Only Luxury Resort in the Hayman Islands, Chef Mainardi has a flexible and innovative approach to Italian cooking while still maintaining the authentic heart of his motherland’s cuisine.
In his new capacity as the Chef de Cuisine at Acqua Italian Restaurant, Chef Mainardi will be overseeing all the culinary operations of the restaurant and will showcase his wealth of knowledge of food preparation with the best quality fresh ingredients.
