Eid al-Adha is an Islamic festival that commemorates the willingness of Prophet Ibrahim (also known as Abraham) to follow Allah's command to sacrifice his son Ishmael. Muslims from all over the world observe this event with celebrations, and it is one of the most important dates in the Muslim calendar.

Hajj is also regularly performed during these days – the congregation during Hajj in Makkah, Saudi Arabia is considered to be the largest annual gathering of people in the world. The religious occasion is celebrated with prayer, spending time with family and friends as well as giving gifts – make sure to choose Burj Rafal Hotel Kempinski as the location of your family's celebrations this September.
