Grand Kempinski Riga Hotel will host a photo exhibition of the legendary paparazzi Marcello Geppetti DOLCE VITA from June 22 to July 7
Dolce Vita is an international level photo exhibition dedicated to the works of one of the founders of the paparazzi movement Marcello Geppetti a close friend of Federico Fellini, whom he inspired for the film Dolce Vita.
The original images of world famous actors and politicians, captured by Geppetti will leave the walls of museums and private galleries to appear before a wide audience in the elegant space of the hotel.
The retrospective will include 20 pictures, some of which will be shown in Europe for the first time ever.
Masterfully captured world celebrity photographs of Elizabeth Taylor, Brigitte Bardot, Grace Kelly, Sophia Loren, Gregory Peck and many other movie stars, socialites, politicians and important public figures of those years restore the atmosphere of a lush night life of Italy and Cote’d Azur of the 50-60s era of the 20th century.
Geppetti’s photos have appeared on “Time Magazine”, “Life”, “Vogue”. The “New York Times” and the “Newsweek”. Collectors compare him with the outstanding photographers of the last century – Henri Cartier-Bresson and Weegee.
Geppetti’s photos are in the TOP30 of the world rating of the most well known pictures of celebrities.

The exhibition Dolce Vita will be open to Riga residents and guests from June 22 to July 7 in the new panoramic restaurant Stage 22 located on the top floor of the Grand Hotel Kempinski Riga.
