Resident Animals

A unique place
Resident Animals

The animals living in the area are almost like part of the family here at the Olare Mara Kempinski: we love following their activities and we can’t wait to share them with you.

We have been privileged to witness some amazing things from these animals, and from our observation point adjacent to the camp, our guests can too. You might get to see a female lion teaching her cubs to hunt, or our resident leopard Acacia who is often spotted near the camp with two cubs of her own.

Alternatively, take a game drive and see a little bit of everything the Conservancy has to offer: wildebeest, elephants and giraffe are just a few of the animals you can see in their natural habitat. There are also more than 50 species of birds who make their home in the local area. Don’t forget your camera!
