Experiences of Virginia the Kempinski Hotel Bahiá 'Lady in Red'
I have been working in hospitality for many years in positions related to guest services. I love my job because it allows me to be in contact with guests and I always to try to meet and exceed their expectations. I also like being in contact with all the departments in the hotel. I get to know every employee and somehow I feel like a part of every department as we all work together to leave the best impression on our guests. I feel that I am learning everyday by serving guests from different nationalities, cultures, backgrounds and religions. I need to be up-to-date and knowledgeable about the tastes or habits of our guests in order to meet their needs and exceed their expectations (at least we always try!). I take every suggestion as a present from the guest; every unsatisfied guest is a challenge to transform the disappointment into an unforgettable memory for that guest.
