Float the day away in the Dead Sea
It is a curious thing, to have a sea that sits at 400m below sea level, but that is not the only thing that makes the Dead Sea stand out from the crowd. Thanks to the incredibly high salinity level of the Dead Sea, swimming in the water is a very buoyant experience! So much so that you are best lying back, and enjoying the unique floating sensation, safe in the knowledge that you will emerge with lovely, soft skin.
Remember to take shoes to protect your feet, and take care when in the water - the high salt content can accentuate any little cuts, and can sting if splashed in your eyes - but as swimming is hard work anyway, floating the day away is a more relaxing, and safe alternative.
