The stewed pork belly and Chinese sauerkraut served with blood sausage
Originated in the northeast village, after each year’s busy Autumn harvest, people slaughter the fat pigs those were fed by themselves with healthy grain and make these pork into all kinds of dishes to celebrate the harvest and invite the neighbors. This is very popular in Heilongjiang Province. The dish was made after the Laba Festival in general .There is a ballad “the kid ,kid do not cry we will slaughter the pig after the Laba Festival.” People will slaughter the pig, prepare foods and other items for the New Year. The Chinese sauerkraut tastes crisp and refreshing ,the whole dish is very healthy. If you eat this you will sweat a lot and feel that a whole year’s hard work has gone.
