Hotel Atlantic Kempinski supports the ‘Channel Aid – Live in Concert’ event with Rita Ora in the Elbphilharmonie

Hamburg, 2 November 2017. During the course of today’s press conference in Hotel Atlantic Kempinski Hamburg, FABS Foundation Hamburg revealed news of a musical charity premiere with their Channel Aid – Live in Concert event. On 5 January 2018, international star Rita Ora will headline the first pop concert in the Elbphilharmonie with the entire performance being streamed on the YouTube charity channel Channel Aid. All proceeds will be donated to social projects supported by the FABS Foundation. As a sponsor of the event, Hotel Atlantic has compiled an exclusive concert package for hotel guests.

As official hotel partner, Hotel Atlantic is supporting Channel Aid by providing the press conference facilities, accommodating the artists such as singer Rita Ora and the YouTube creators Costantino Carrara and Max from the USA, and at the after-show party being held at Hamburg’s Fischauktionshalle.

Hotel Atlantic has created a special offer for all music enthusiasts interested in the Channel Aid - Live in Concert event. Among other benefits, it includes two nights in the grand hotel, tickets to the concert and the after-show party, as well as a shuttle service (from €554). The social projects will also benefit from all hotel bookings received.

How the YouTube charity channel Channel Aid works
Since earlier this year, those wishing to support sporting offers and other opportunities for socially deprived families and people with disabilities can now do so by simply watching YouTube videos. The first charity channel was launched on the internet platform in July. Its name: Channel Aid.

By cooperating with YouTube creators and international enterprises, Channel Aid has been able to ensure a regular supply of free content. This is offered exclusively on the YouTube channel. By clicking on promotional videos and banners, everyone can make the most of this modern means to support good causes without having to donate money themselves. 100 percent of all advertising revenues flow into FABS Foundation projects supporting children, juveniles and people with disabilities in Germany. One particular area of focus is the self-initiated Chance to Dance project that offers dance courses to people with disabilities. In addition to this, projects from external foundations are also supported such as the Laureus Sport for Good Foundation.
