To shape a future you must have a past - this applies for art and culture as well as for economics and politics. No other place can showcase this better than the Übersee-Club in Hamburg. It was at the suggestion of banker Max M. Warburg that Hamburg business people, industrialists and senior city administrators founded the club on June 27, 1922 when the German economy lay prostrate following the First World War. As a meeting place for the business and scientific communities, the Übersee-Club made a great contribution to the business community and government acting in unison to rebuild international commerce and to promote the development of Hamburg's traditional links with world markets.
Great traditions bring great commitments. This also applies for the Übersee-Club and is the reason behind why in the future certain things remain the same. Since 1952 until today the Hotel Atlantic Kempinski Hamburg is responsible for the gastronomy of the Übersee-Club.
Members and guests of the club enjoy exquisite culinary offers, prepared on site. The à la carte restaurant overlooking the Binnenalster Lake is open Monday to Friday from 12:00 to 15:00.
For private events the gastronomy and the unique meeting space of the Amsinck-House can be booked by both club members as well as non club members. Special occasions have made the Übersee-Club to a special place. If you're looking for something extraordinary, whether a stylish wedding, anniversary party or a corporate day out, the Übersee-Club is the perfect choice. We will be happy to assist you with individual planning and showcasing of rooms and decoration concepts.
Opening hours: Monday to Friday from 10:00 - 18:00, Lunch from 12:00 to 15:00. Evenings and weekends upon request.
