New F&B Manager in Falkenstein Grand
Königstein im Taunus, 1 October 2015. The overall responsibility of the luxury hotel’s entire catering operation passes for the first time in its history into the hands of a woman, 29-year-old Tanja Huber. Her scope of authority includes the exclusive conference and events sector as well as the much acclaimed Restaurant Landgut Falkenstein (14 Gault Millau points) and Raffael’s, one of Germany’s best hotel whisky bars.
Special attention will be placed by Tanja Huber on ensuring the perfect integration of the hotel’s highly rated cuisine with their high-class conference operations. This also includes culinary services for meetings and events in “The One Penthouse”, one of the largest and most exclusive ‘suite domains’ in Germany with over 500 square metres of space.
Born in Bavaria, the hotel management graduate has already held a number of managerial positions both home and abroad. These include F&B Assistant Manager for the Robinson Clubs in Playa Granada in Andalusia and Quinta da Ria in Portugal, as well as holding the same post on the Mein Schiff 1 cruise liner.
Tanja Huber joined the Kempinski hotel team in 2014 starting off as F&B Assistant Manager. Now she is in charge of a 20-strong team responsible for the business hideaway with its direct views over the financial powerhouse of Frankfurt am Main. She succeeds Andreas Rüffer who has moved to the Kempinski Hotel Soma Bay in Egypt.
“We are delighted that this most important position has been filled by a young lady from our own ranks. That corresponds with our philosophy of promoting our own team, offering employees future perspectives and retaining them for the long-term,” stated Stefan Massa, General Manager of the Falkenstein Grand Kempinski.
