Until 1795 Frankfurt am Main was the residence of the Goethe family, where Johann Wolfgang von Goethe was born in 1749. Today the 'Großer Hirschgraben' provides a great insight into the life and work of this unique German poet and thinker in various tours through the Goethe House.
