Kempinski Appoints Area Director of Sales for the Arabian Gulf
Nasser Fawzi Promoted to Support the Sales Activities of All Kempinski Properties in the Arabian Gulf
Dubai, August 2013: In accordance with Kempinski’s area sales strategy, the group has appointed Nasser Fawzi as the Area Director of Sales for the Arabian Gulf (UAE, Qatar and Bahrain). Nasser will be based at Kempinski Hotel Mall of the Emirates.
Nasser has been with Kempinski since 2001 and worked in senior sales and marketing roles in the UAE, Turkey and Egypt. He most recently held the position of Director of Sales and Marketing at Kempinski Hotel Mall of the Emirates, where he helped position the property as one of the Middle East’s most iconic hotels. In his new, extended role, Nasser will continue to be responsible for sales and marketing at Kempinski Hotel Mall of the Emirates and he will also coordinate and support the sales activities of all other Kempinski hotels in the region while working closely with the regional Director of Sales and the appointed GSOs.
Having worked in the hospitality industry for more than twenty years – twelve years of which he has spent with Kempinski – Nasser brings a wealth of knowledge and regional expertise to the group. A Syrian national, Nasser speaks fluent English and advanced German in addition to his mother tongue.
