Third Oktoberfest Festival at Paulaner Bräuhaus of Kempinski Hotel Chongqing

Third Oktoberfest Festival at Paulaner Bräuhaus of Kempinski Hotel Chongqing

23 September 2015 – Kempinski Hotel Chongqing celebrated the third annual Oktoberfest at Paulaner Bräuhaus. General Manager Mr Dany Lützel kicked off the evening with their guests with the traditional beer-barrel opening. Together they cheered “O’ zapft is!” with the help of Brew Master Mr Helmut Schwichtenberg and VIPs.
The glittering event started with the Bavarian Oktoberfest Band Edelweiss-Power, who made a splashy appearance during the evening. The Paulaner Oktoberfest was held from 23rd to 26th September and created a vibrant atmosphere in Paulaner Bräuhaus for more than 1,000 guests with a very special lucky draw and Bavarian games every evening. Over 2,000 L (528gal) of special Oktoberfest beer was brewed for the event, accompanied by an authentic German buffet dinner.
“As the oldest luxury European hotel brand, we are proud to carry on the authentic German Oktoberfest and bring this culture to Chongqing. The evening was a memorable event for all our guests and we look forward to the next Oktoberfest 2016,” said Mr Dany Lützel, General Manager of Kempinski Hotel Chongqing.
