Kempinski Nile Hotel, concluded a blood donation campaign for it associates, under the supervision of the Children Cancer Hospital. The facility at the hotel was equipped with all technical requirements to render the process a success.
The management and staff of Kempinski Nile Hotel fully supported the cause by participating. There were a total of one hundred and five participants.
The donation is a tangible social contribution, which is very important for the family of the hotel, as evidenced by the immense participation of employees of the hotel.
The Blood Donation program began when the management team of the hotel noted the lack of blood in the Children Cancer Hospital after a TV broadcast, and called on staff for voluntary donations. The strong response of staff resulted in the annual establishment of the blood donation program as a new corporate social responsibility initiative and in the creation of Kempinski’s blood bank. This serves dozens of surgeries and serious incidents which request immediate blood transfers to treat children with cancer.
