Krüzsely Exibition "Exosphere" on Kempinski Promenade

Krüzsely Exibition "Exosphere" on Kempinski Promenade

This body of Krüzsely’s work reflects the salient features of his oeuvre: a linearity, nets located in space and a unique portrayal of humans. Primary colours are complemented with spring-evoking pink and turquoise hues. Countering the strongly drawn lines, a chemistry emerges from the soft texture of grey, which fills the pictures with life and a characteristic dynamism.

We see two new elements. The technique of shading appears, which supports the dynamism of graphics, while the use of grey creates a framework that seems to tear through the canvas as if to reveal the real work. The effect of these two techniques is that the pictures start existing in space. This tendency is also evident is the pictures of the resonance series, but the nets are replaced with cones and strings that only meet in their start and end points.

Gábor Krüzsely was born in 1972. He received his art instructor degree in 1995 and his visual communication degree at Eger’s Eszterházy Károly Teacher Training College in 1998. His pictures reveal an interest in a diversity of techniques with a preference for the elements of graphics. He insists that he could not and never wanted to separate painting and graphics. His belief in universality is strongly related to balance. Every last particle must be in place. All things simple and sensational are born out of a great deal of energy, experience and laying about, or if you like, meditation. He has held several individual and collective exhibitions and his works hang in Hungary as well as in international private collections. Official website -

His "Exosphere" exhibition on Promenade of Kempinski Hotel Corvinus Budapest is available until 15 June, 2015 - at no admission fee.
