Curtain rises on the Adlon Bel Etage Brunch

The popular Adlon Brunch is back with a new concept

Berlin, 22 February 2016. Get up later and then really pamper yourself with some culinary delights? The new magic words on everyone’s lips are: the Adlon Bel Etage Brunch. From 28 February, fans of the Sunday brunch at Hotel Adlon Kempinski can look forward to a new catering concept. Guests can now sample the finest delicacies from the region, culinary treats from around the world and the classic brunch recipes - reinterpreted with a modern twist - on the Bel Etage.

The brunch begins in style with a glass of champagne and an appetizing amuse-bouche. You are also invited to indulge in Italian antipasti, hot and cold smoked fish from the oceans and rivers, soups with changing varieties every week and a varied and tempting salad buffet in the newly refurbished “Kaminzimmer” or fireplace room. At the live cooking stations, the Adlon chefs prepare fine dishes in front of the guests. It goes without saying that the hotel’s classic brunch dish is still available: oysters - served with “Chesterbrot” (pumpernickel bread layered with cheese and butter) or French baguette, lemon wedges, shallot vinaigrette and Tabasco sauce. If you fancy a hot main course, you can also order this from your table. The weekly changing seasonal menu caters for all tastes and also includes a vegetarian option. The main dishes are served on platters or in dishes and can be sampled together, “family-style”, just like you would at home. The dessert buffet will have everyone licking their lips in anticipation. Creamy desserts, fresh pastries created by the hotel’s own pastry chefs plus a small crêpe stand are a joy to the 1/2 palate. And chocoholics of all ages are catered for too at the bubbling chocolate fountain.

Regularly changing live performers provide pleasant background music. The Adlon Bel Etage Brunch is available on the Bel Etage at Hotel Adlon Kempinski every Sunday from 12.30 to 3.30 p.m. On public holidays such as Easter or Whitsun, the Adlon chefs create themed delicacies in keeping with the particular occasion. The brunch includes a glass of champagne as a welcome drink (or a glass of freshly pressed juice), all starters, main courses and desserts as well as hot drinks and water (65 euros per person, 30 euros for children under 12, children under 6 free).
