Sunrise Kempinski Hotel
Beijing, China, February 2014 - Located 60km north of Beijing's city centre, alongside the picturesque Yanqi Lake and boasting panoramic views of Yanshan Mountain and the Mutianyu section of the Great Wall, the Sunrise Kempinski hotel complex is Kempinski’s largest property in China.
The resort includes a total of 595 guest rooms and suites housed across the Sunrise Kempinski Hotel, the Yanqi Hotel and 12 boutique hotels, all managed by Kempinski. The complex is designed to host high profile government conferences and is set to become the location of choice for large-scale local and international meetings in the region.
The rising sun shaped Sunrise Kempinski Hotel features 306 guest rooms and suites, all with magnificent views of its picturesque surroundings as well as 14,069 square metres of meeting space, including the 8,277-square-metres Beijing Yanqi Lake International Conference Centre, which provides some of the largest high-tech meeting facilities in mainland China.
Yanqi Hotel is located on a private island and features 111 guest rooms and suites, as well as 12 individual boutique hotels offering a total of 178 rooms and suites of varying sizes, each of which reflects aspects of Chinese culture.
In total, the resort will feature four ballrooms, 23 meeting rooms and three business centres as well as two Kempinski The Spa, a marina with a yacht, the Yanqi Pagoda, recreational and fitness facilities, a Kids Club, and 14 restaurants and bars.
