SUNRISE KEMPINSKI HOTEL, BEIJING&YANQI ISLAND SUCCESSFULLY CARRIED OUT CHINA’S 2016 G20 ENERGY MINISTERIAL MEETING

The China’s 2016 G20 Energy Ministerial Meeting was successfully held at Sunrise Kempinski Hotel, Beijing & Yanqi Island from 29 -30 June 2016.

This is the third time for the Kempinski team to successfully complete their mission to host a global forum after APEC in 2014 and “Understanding China Conference” in 2015.

Sunrise Kempinski Hotel Beijing & Yanqi Island, as a new international summit forum destination, has been chosen to carry out the G20’s 11th summit. Kempinski has over 100 years of history, 23 of which have been spent in the Chinese market, and Kempinski has a deep understanding of China and Chinese culture. The whole management team had to ensure that the mission of G20 2016 was successfully completed.

At the G20 Energy Ministerial Meeting, more than 300 representatives from G20 members, guest countries, as well as international organizations attended the meeting. Vice-premier of China Zhang Gaoli, UN Under-Secretary General Shamshad Akhtar, head of China’s National Energy Administration Nur Bekri also participated at the meeting.

This event was highly evaluated and appreciated by the Vice Premier of China for being a well-organised and thoughtful arrangement.

The successful completion of the G20 Energy Ministerial Meeting, held at this destination, which is managed by Kempinski, adds another milestone to Kempinski’s 23 years in China.
