Bake for Sunvillage Christmas Charity Baking Class at Kempinski Hotel Beijing
Beijing, 25 November, 2015 - This year, the festive season at Kempinski Hotel Beijing started earlier than usual. Prior to its annual tree lighting ceremony, a charity baking class kicked off the festive season of 2015.
“Bake for Sunvillage”, a Christmas cookie baking class in the aim of supporting the charity program Sunvillage was successfully hosted in the hotel on 25 November.
This “Bake for Sunvillage” program is initiated and organised by Mrs. Beate Mitrovits, the wife of the Managing Director of Kempinski Hotel Beijing. During the baking class, the participants learned the recipes and practiced step by step to make six kinds of Christmas cookies, under the instruction of Chef Joachim Antonio, the Executive Pastry Chef of the hotel.
Starting from 29 November to 25 December, all these six kinds of Christmas cookies will be available with the other Christmas goodies at Kempi Deli, as well as in the Ginger Bread House in the lobby of Kempinski Hotel Beijing. All the proceeds will go to Sunvillage charity program to help the ones who are in need. Every cookie purchased will help to spread the true Christmas spirit of love and share to the children in Sunvillage. Merry Christmas!
