Kempinski Hotel Grand Arena Bansko Sponsors Fourth Bansko Opera Fest
Kempinski Hotel Grand Arena Bansko sponsored Bansko Opera Fest for the fourth year in a row from 30-31 August 2013. The festival featured a brilliant opening performance of Tchaikovsky’s “Swan Lake”, as well as a performance of Verdi’s “Rigoletto” by State Opera Rousse on the festival’s second night, in celebration of his 200th birthday.
The large-scale production brought together some of Bulgarian Opera’s greatest stars, including maestro Nayden Todorov, soprano Diana Vasileva as Gilda, tenor Petar Kostov as Duke of Mantua and baritone Alexander Krunev as Rigoletto.
Admission to the festival was free thanks to event sponsors and organisers, Kempinski Hotel Grand Arena Bansko, Bansko Municipality and Monte Music company. Each of the festival nights gathered audiences of as many as 3,000 people.
The beautiful performances at Bansko Opera Fest turned the quiet mountain town into an unforgettable feast of sounds, images and emotions. The events creative and technical realisations were made possible with the great support of Monte Music company.
The stars of the Bulgarian Opera were accommodated at Kempinski Hotel Grand Arena Bansko, and guests who booked an Executive room or suite received free VIP passes for the festival.
