A Modern Way of Placing Food Orders at Kempinski Hotel Ajman

Kempinski Hotel Ajman has implemented a modern way of ordering food without even getting up from your sun lounger on the beach or dialing room service.

“We have placed the unique pyramids with QR codes on them in our guestrooms so that guests can scan the code with their smart phones or tablets and this automatically opens up the food and beverage menu. Guests can then place their orders with a few simple clicks. Menus are available in four different languages: English, German, Arabic and Russian,” explained Director of Food and Beverage, Anish Kuttan.

“Since our resort is well-known for its stunningly beautiful, white-sand beach, we are delighted to give our guests the opportunity of ordering food simply by scanning the QR code while lying  on their sun beds. The QR codes are placed on the sun lounger umbrellas, which makes them very easily accessible. One of the reasons why we chose this technology is for the convenience it gives to our “smart guests”, those who are inclined to technology. The highlight is definitely the speed of ordering - the moment you place your order, it is in the system and is directly forwarded to the kitchen. It’s the ease of ordering and the quickness of delivery that makes everything hassle-free,” added Kuttan.
