Emirates Palace’s Dome fills with Twinkling Lights while Golden Hearts Swell with Goodwill
The Festive Season is in full swing at Emirates Palace. Our 40 foot Christmas tree has been lit, and our Elves has been hard at work making the decorations perfect for our guests and visitors. It’s safe to say Emirates Palace is ready for the Festive Season and all the goodwill and great cheer that comes along with it.
Here are some facts about our Christmas tree:
- Our Tree is 40 feet high
- It is one of the tallest in the UAE
- It took a rotating team of 20 people over 33 hours to decorate
- It take 2,100 imported glass ornaments and 100 strings of light to make it sparkle
- To reach the top, certified High Level Boom Lift professionals must be air-lifted. Our resident designer remains at the bottom guiding their placement of the tallest ornaments and the tree topper
- This year’s theme is Silver and Gold
- Many of the ornaments were handmade with fine fabrics and are exclusive to Emirates Palace
But, the Season is about much more than outside decorations; it’s what’s on the inside is what counts. Emirates Palace is proud to annually spread Christmas cheer and grant wishes to children in Abu Dhabi with life threatening illnesses via the charitable giving campaign we do in conjunction with the Make-A-Wish Foundation UAE. Every year, diners can open their #GoldenHearts and give to children in need when they indulge in the seasonal treats at Le Café.
Emirates Palace knows that everyone can make a difference when we open our Golden Hearts to one another and fill our community with love and kindness.
