Grand Restaurant in the High Tatras is one of the best three restaurants in Slovakia

THE HIGH TATRAS / BRATISLAVA – Hotel restaurant Grand Restaurant in Grand Hotel Kempinski High Tatras can pride itself on another valuable prize. Lately it won bronze medal in the prestigious competition Gurman Award in Bratislava. Continuous success of Grand Hotel Kempinski High Tatras is evident as it has vindicated its last year´s title one of the best Slovak restaurants which was granted by TREND Top 2016.

The annual competition Gurman Award offers overview of the best Slovak restaurants. „We are really pleased that Grand Restaurant is again on the top of Slovak gastronomy and that it has proven its qualities among other restaurants thanks to whole team under the leadership of chef Tomáš Tejbus. They always provide the best service for our customers,“ said Kathrin Noll, general manager of Grand Hotel Kempinski High Tatras.

The luxurious restaurant in the heart of the High Tatras won this valuable third place mainly thanks to its delicious cuisine. „Our dishes always provide you a unique experience. For us and our customers it is only natural that our specialties are of excellent taste and quality. That is why we prepared a special menu for every season, we want to demonstrate diversity of our cuisine,“ said chef of Grand Restaurant Tomáš Tejbus who is one of the best Slovak chefs according to TREND Top 2016.

Thanks to excellent team and professional approach Grand Restaurant became one of the top ten Slovak restaurants by Trend Top 2016. So Gurman Award is the second prize which was given this year. This only proves that every fan of culinary art will be given the best gourmet experience possible.

Moreover, every gourmet feels pleasure of travelling in time when he sees our tastily reconstructed Grand Restaurant. Our broad offer more than 300 of domestic and international wines or local products of the fines quality are the key instruments why this restaurant near Štrbské pleso is the right place for families or friends. This unique combination of gourmet experience and romantic side of the High Tatras is the reason why judges without any hesitation rewarded our Grand Restaurant with the bronze medal.

This Gurman Award prize is a great counterpart of the title of the best Slovak hotel that Grand Hotel Kempinski High Tatras won for the second time. The hotel proven its qualities among almost 220 other hotels and outgrown expectations of judges. It´s stable 5-star hotel service, quality of the food and ambient resolved that in the TREND Top 2016 ranking Grand Hotel Kempinski High Tatras won first place with 18.5 out of 20 points.
