Classic and original desserts, biscuits, marmalade and chocolate – these are forbidden sweets that prove to be true delights. Christophe Laplaza put all his talent into creating miniature sweet masterpieces. In 2004, Chef Laplaza, a true culinary master, took fourth place at the French Championship of Desserts.
Daily afternoon tea in the Tea Room at Kempinski Hotel Moika 22 offers anyone a chance to experience the classical traditions of Russian and European tea ceremonies. Nestled in an antique chair near the fireplace or near a window, which open up to picturesque views of the historic center of St Petersburg, guests have the pleasure to choose one of three sophisticated afternoon tea ceremonies, which are served in white porcelain made at the Imperial Lomonosov factory.
One more exciting detail that emphasizes the luxurious ambiance is the live sounds of violins. They come from the hotel lobby where a violinist duet plays beautiful classical and contemporary music on a balcony every day from 4pm to 7pm.
The Tea Room is located on Floor 1 at Kempinski Hotel Moika 22. It’s open daily from 3pm to 8pm. Afternoon tea is served from 3pm to 7pm.
