Fairy-tale Spring at Bellevue Brasserie: The Restaurant’s New Dishes are Inspired by World Famous Fairy-Tales


Seven magic stories for children and adults have found new life in the form of gastronomic delights. The new spring menu offers a taste of Cinderella by Charles Perrault in the form of Sabayon with Blood Orange, and invites guests to re-discover The Prince and the Pauper by Mark Twain in a Duet of Veal Cooked in Coco Milk and Salsifies with Mediterranean Tomatoes.

Chef Laplaza said, “I was very impressed with myself for the Ravioli of Rabbit with Variation of Carrot and Walnuts. This dish will amaze you with its taste and will remind you of the magic mushroom from Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, the greatest story written by Lewis Carroll. There was a little sign “Eat me” on that mushroom, but you won’t need any special sign to try our ravioli. It looks very tasty and it is delicious!”

Chef Laplaza recommends trying all the new literature-inspired dishes on the spring menu at Bellevue Brasserie. The restaurant’s guests will experience new exquisite tastes in each dish and will enjoy remembering their favourite books from childhood.

The gastronomic journey into the world of literature, starting with the books of France and exploring the world of fairy-tales, will continue at the Bellevue Brasserie with new inspired dishes and surprising food interpretations.

The unique location of the panoramic Bellevue Brasserie restaurant on Floor 9 of Kempinski Hotel Moika 22 makes it one of the most significant places to dine in St Petersburg. Its 360°, breathtaking view looks out over the main historical landmarks of the city centre, such as Palace Square, the Hermitage Museum, St Isaac’s Cathedral and the Church on Spilled Blood.
