Executive Chef Christophe Laplaza has almost completely updated the menu, adding some of the dishes that he cooked during his time at Michelin-starred restaurants, including Gordon Ramsey’s restaurant at The Trianon Palace Waldorf Astoria in Paris and Azimut restaurant in Courchevel.
"During the spring and summer, our guests often ask for light food and bright looking dishes. They tend to care about their health more thoroughly . I created our seasonal menu based on these preferences," said Laplaza. "And to make a special carefree holiday atmosphere, which is just in the air in the summer, I added some dishes to our new Bellevue Brasserie menu featuring traditional French recipes that I cooked for the guests of renowned French restaurants."
Christophe recommends trying this summer’s delicious appetisers and main courses of seafood, delicate meat and fresh vegetables. Each dish is a fine work of culinary art and an extraordinary gourmet experience, for example:
- Salmon variation: carpaccio, tartar, confit and caviar
- Taboulé salad with crayfish, lime and parsley powder
- Roasted scallops with multicolored tomatoes, artichoke and bacon chips
- Veal chops with hollandaise, sage jus and pepper sauce with potato gratin
- Vegetables pearls and roasted asparagus with hollandaise and balsamic sauce
Starting on 1 May, the panoramic Bellevue Brasserie restaurant, which is located on Floor 9 of the Kempinski Hotel Moika 22, opens the Summer Terrace -- its 360-degree dining venue offering spectacular views over the main historical attractions of the city centre: Palace Square, Hermitage Museum, St Isaac’s Cathedral and the Church on Spilled Blood.
Until the end of the summer, the Bellevue Brasserie and Summer Terrace are open from 12:00 noon until 2:30am.
From 8 May, live DJ music will be performed every evening from 9:00pm to 12:00 midnight to add a special style to the summer St Petersburg atmosphere at the Bellevue Brasserie restaurant.
