After several years of closure, the Albertina in Vienna was finally opened again in 2003 with new items and a new sense of modern glory.


Situated directly behind the Viennese State Opera, paintings of world famous artists can be found in the Albertina. Featured artists include Bruegel, Rubens and Rembrandt. With an inventory of approximately 65,000 drawings and over 1 million graphic prints, the Albertina is renowned for being one of the largest and most important print collections in the world. Discover Albrecht Dürer's rabbit or Leonardo da Vinci’s creations - the Albertina is a secret sanctuary for art lovers.
