HISTORY OF BRYNDZA PIROGUES:
In the past, climatic conditions in the Spiš region favoured growing potatoes and wheat. This is why regional dishes were comprised of these ingredients. This particular meal combines flour, home-grown potatoes, bacon from home-raised pigs and curd cheese from home-made milk.
