From 24 June until 19 September 2012, the St. Moritz Salon Orchestra will be holding a series of concerts daily in the concert hall of St. Moritzer Bäder AG in St. Moritz-Bad, next to the entrance to the MTZ Heilbad Medical Therapy Centre.

 

In fine weather, they will take place in the neighbouring music pavilion of the park in St. Moritz-Bad, in front of the Kempinski Grand Hotel des Bains.

It is a comical opera with typical goodies of Rossini.

No less than five passes over 2,300 m, with such memorable names as Ofenpass, Forcola di Livigno, Berninapass, Albulapass and Flüelapass, will be overcome by competitors. And the best thing is that the course goes around Switzerland's only national park.  At La Punt cyclists doing the 211km tour join the participants from the 97km tour to Zernez.
After 97km and 1,325m of climbing riders can decide in Zernez if they will turn right to the finishing line or continue another 114km, with 2,502m of climbing. After a stop at the refreshment station at the end of the village of Zernez, the course continues towards Susch over the Flüelapass, through Davos and Schmitten, over the Albulapass, and through La Punt to the finish in Zernez.

The highest-altitude club-based jazz festival in Europe has evolved over recent years into one of the gems of the calendar.

 

Stars and rising stars alike bring blue notes to the legendary Dracula Club, whose relaxed welcome has made it a cherished rendezvous for luminaries of the jazz scene.

The route of the new alpinathlon is absolutely unique in terms of scenery, course contours and variety. The skating and biking sections pass through one of the world's most beautiful mountain landscapes.

 

The alpinathlon is a combination of sport, adventure, team spirit and pushing the boundaries. In a team - women, men and mixed - or on your own, you can conquer mountain and valley, hiking trails and areas of the High Alps, both summer and winter; in the disciplines of mountain biking, running and bicycle racing. And braving wind and weather. Extraordinary. Active. United.

 

In its 72nd year, the Engadin Festival remains faithful to its original concept: well-tried aspects are retained, new elements introduced with creativity and a sound instinct. In all, the festival presents various concerts in the region.

Today St. Moritz is the equine sports centre of the Alps. Horse jumping shows (“Concours Hippique”) and polo events take place here in both summer and winter.

In the early days of kitesurfing there were only a few surfers who came to Silvaplana. However, the number of enthusiastic exponents increases significantly each year.

The traditional Concours Hippique horse show has become an integral part of the calendars of all equine sports fans.

 

In the soon-to-be 100 year old equine sports centre on the shores of Lake St. Moritz just about every riding desire can be fulfilled. 

In the course of four daily stages, it follows a route through three Alpine countries, taking in spectacular scenery. For e-mobiles with 2, 3 or 4 wheels.

 

When planning the route, attention is equally paid to scenic beauty as to the sporting challenge. Yet the objective remains unchanged: to show the world how competitive, efficient, dynamic and lively electric mobility is. In other words, not to just preach ecological awareness, but also practise it.

Street parades through idyllic Celerina, atmospheric performances on the village square, and thrilling evening concerts in the hotels draw fans of New Orleans jazz from far and wide. Those who prefer a more contemplative musical experience will enjoy the jazz church service.
