Three Awards for 2012 for Kempinski Hotel Zografski Sofia

Kempinski Hotel Zografski Sofia has crowned 2012 with three of the most prestigious awards in the tourism industry – World Travel Awards had selected it as Bulgaria’s Leading Hotel and Bulgaria’s Leading Business Hotel while TripAdvisor presented it with the valuable Certificate of Excellence.

 

World Travel Awards has chosen Kempinski Sofia as Leading Hotel in Bulgaria for a fifth consecutive year in a heated competition with other top city hotels.  The second award, Bulgaria’s Leading Business Hotel, makes the achievements even more significant and meaningful. 
The contest defined by Wall Street Journal as ‘the travel industry’s equivalent to the Oscars” was launched in 1993 to acknowledge and recognise excellence in the global travel and tourism industry. Celebrating its 19th anniversary this year, the competition is regarded as the very highest achievement that a travel product could hope to receive. The glamorous Europe Gala Ceremony in Portugal on October 6 gathered travel elite from around the globe, and the two prizes of Kempinski Sofia were personally received by Ms Nadia Broekelman, one of the hotel owners.
Earlier in 2012 Kempinski Hotel Zografski received a Certificate of Excellence by TripAdvisor, the world’s largest travel site. The Certificate of Excellence aims to recognize exceptional businesses around the globe who offer top facilities, five star service and great customer experience. It is awarded to qualifying accommodations, attractions and restaurants listed on TripAdvisor and maintaining a high overall user rating and a high volume of recent and quality reviews, and reflects the opinion of the people who matter most in the hospitality business, hotel guests.
