    In the heart of Malaz in Riyadh, the zoo is an easily accessible travel location for those visiting the city of Riyadh.
    In the beautifully spread out landscape and marvelously set terrain, this zoological park has an area of 55 ac (22.3 ha) and consists of more than 1,500 animals of 40 species.
    The zoo was opened in the year 1987.
