Built in 1589, the Hofbräuhaus originally served as a brewery for the royal family of Wittelsbach, and has become one of the most famous landmark attractions of Munich.

There’s no better place to savor a hearty “Brotzeit“ snack or a mug of foaming beer – locals refer to it as “Maß” - than at the beer hall or in the cozy beer garden located in the inner courtyard of the Hofbräuhaus.
