PASTRY CHEF

We are looking for an Executive Pastry Chef who can manage the overall pastry operations.
You will be accountable for overall success of the daily pastry operations. Exhibits creative baking and decorating talents by personally performing tasks while leading the staff in preparing quality and consistent pastries. Works to continually improve guest and employee satisfaction while maintaining the operating budget. Supervises all pastry areas to ensure a consistent, high quality product is produced. Responsible for guiding and developing staff including direct reports. Must ensure sanitation and food standards are achieved. Areas of responsibility comprise overseeing all pastry food preparation areas.
Key Profile:

  •    Must have prior 5 star hotel background along with strong experiences in managing patisserie shops.
  •    Maintain standards and brand image
  •    Able to lead and motivate staff
  •    Good knowledge of concept development and must have opening experiences
  •    Must have experience in serving high volume of guests during functions and events
  •    “Eagle-eyed” attention to details
  •    Must have good understanding of costs and financials

EXECUTIVE HOUSEKEEPER

The Role would involve responsibility for the daily operation of the Housekeeping Department and guiding and developing a multicultural team. The role involves bringing all the knowledge and standards required to maintain and surpass the guests highest expectations and will include key responsibilities such as:

  • Maintain all hotel guest rooms and public areas, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness.
  • Establish standards and guidelines to ensure total guest satisfaction.
  • Supervise training of all housekeeping team members to ensure successful operation.
  • Measure, interpret and evaluate working standard of the department.
  • Control all purchases for the department and be consistently aware of quality and cost.
  • Show by personal example a philosophy of work and conduct consistent with the professionalism expected.
  • Manage and control all operation equipment, linen and uniforms. Set short and long term strategies for the department.

 Experience and Education:

  • Russian citizenship is a MUST (possible Belarus or Kazakh)
  • Previous experience in the Housekeeping function in the operation of 200 rooms or more is essential.
  • The candidate we are looking for will have a minimum of 3 years of experience heading the Housekeeping department at the five star hotel.
  • Entrepreneurial and flexible, professional and People Oriented. 
  • Excellent English communication skills additional language skills are an advantage.
  • Excellent communication‚ presentation & negotiation skills
