    Gilbert Felli, the executive director of International Olympic Committee, declared that IOC can postpone the first Grand Prix Russia to 2015, if the stage of F1 will interfere with the preparation for the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games. The owner of the royal races Bernie Ecclestone signed a contract for organization Grand Prix Sochi for 2014, and the track will be constructed at Olympic park in the district of Imeretinsky Valley. Felli mentioned that the contract allows IOC postponing Grand Prix for one year.
