Montreux Choral Festival
The Montreux Choral Festival opens the musical season bringing together some twenty amateur choral groups from all around the world.
The Montreux Choral Festival was created in 1964 under the name International Choral Encounters. Each spring it welcomes choirs of all styles from Switzerland and abroad, regardless of the age or the number of performers. The only criterion applied by the selection committee and the jury is quality! In 2013, the Festival will feature a new concept based on conviviality and sharing.
