The Hotel: This exquisite luxury resort hotel, designed in a Moorish/Andalusian style and set in 45,000 square meters of lush subtropical gardens and three swimming pools, allows breathtaking views over the Mediterranean and the African coastline. Following a full-scale refurbishment, the Kempinski Hotel Bahía boasts 132 elegantly decorated rooms and 15 luxurious suites. A host of fabulous restaurants and bars (some seasonal) are on offer, where the culinary creations of the master chef will enchant the palate; the hotel’s organic garden provides year-long supplies of organically grown fruits, vegetables and herbs. The Kempinski Spa, featuring renowned products by Ligne St. Barth and Terraké, offers a myriad of body treatments and massage rituals, and provides endless relaxation at the indoor heated pool, fitness studio and sauna. Excellent children’s facilities and activities are also available, as well as a variety of other activities, such as tennis, water sports and golf.

Location: Perfectly situated, the Kempinski Hotel Bahía is located 45 minutes from Málaga’s International Airport and 25 minutes from Gibraltar Airport. It is also a mere 5 km. from Estepona, 20 km. from Marbella and just a 15 minute drive to renowned Puerto Banús. Furthermore, the hotel is near most Andalusian cities, such as Málaga, Cádiz, Granada, Seville as well as Tangier, in Africa, making it possible to reach them in less than 2.5 hours, perfect for cultural day trips.

Suite del Mar: This one bedroom suite is designed in a maritime colonial style. A soft palette whites and creams contrast with the dark wood of the floor. Real ship accessories, such as barometers, thermometers, a World Globe, ship lamps, an original 1940’s wood and leather chest and navy porthole doors create a quaint and unique setting for guests to enjoy their holiday. The suite features a large terrace overlooking the Mediterranean Sea, ideal for relaxing and watching the evening sun go down.

Levante Suite: Offering 165 sqm of lavish indoor and outdoor living space, the Levante Suite features one bedroom, a large walk-in closet, living room with Bang & Olusfsen flat screen TV and a spacious outdoor terrace with dining table and lounge bed. The flooring in the suite is made from smooth ‘Crema Levante’ marble which has been sourced locally in Spain and combined with the light cream walls, deep blues and reds it creates a chic, stylish look.

Poniente Suite: The one bedroom Poniente Suite features 461 sqm of opulent outdoor and indoor living space. Whites, reds and browns combine with contemporary art deco furniture and a touch of Andalusian elegance to create a sophisticated and glamorous suite. A wooden staircase adorned with beautiful local iron work leads from the dining room up to the 60 sqm Sky Lounge. The large outdoor terrace boasts a dining area, lounging area and magnificent views of the Mediterranean Sea, Rock of Gibraltar and African Coastline.

Meeting and Event Rooms: The Kempinski Hotel Bahía offers excellent conference and banqueting facilities. With 7 conference and meeting rooms, the largest one is Poniente, measuring 282 sqm with a capacity of up to 240 persons. Featuring state-of-the-art technology and natural daylight, the Kempinski conference and banqueting facilities are perfect for any event, whether it is for a meeting, conference, exhibition, product launch, or even a birthday, communion or wedding.

Wellness and Sport: The Kempinski Hotel Bahía features three outdoor swimming pools (one heated), with a 300 metres’ beachfront. Sun beds, parasols and towels are provided free of charge to Hotel guests.

A range of activities are available in and around the hotel: a water sports and beach volleyball area (both seasonal) and a tennis court within hotel grounds; in the vicinity, horse riding (the largest Andalusian horse-riding facility is just minutes away from the hotel); other activities include sightseeing around the Costa del Sol and Andalusia.

Over 40 golf courses are situated between Málaga and Gibraltar. Special agreements incorporating reduced rates have been made with select golf courses on behalf of guests. Choose from an assortment of public or restricted courses, such as Los Flamingos, Alferini, Finca Cortesín, Atalaya Golf and San Roque.

Players will have access to different practice facilities such as driving range, chipping zone and greens for pitching, which can all be organised by the hotel’s golf desk. Golf lessons, golf club rentals and buggie rentals are all available through the concierge.

Special features: The Kempinski Kids Club entertains youngsters aged 4 to 12 years old, every summer. The kids club is stocked with fun games, colourful books and lots of toys providing hours of indoor entertainment. Outdoors, a variety of activities and a playground at the beach will keep the children busy all day. Activities include pottery, face painting, pirate-themed treasure hunts, sand castle competitions, water polo, bowling, sports, cookie baking and educational games.

Special Kempi-menu’s are available at each restaurant (and room service), catered to every child’s tastes, with a diverse range of yummy dishes. Children’s party menus are also available for birthdays and events.
