The Hotel is proud and grateful to the local charities organizations in Marbella and Estepona for their close collaboration in organising solidarity actions throughout the year 2012.
January, 2012. - In regard to charity events the year 2012 has been tremendously rewarding for the Kempinski Hotel Bahia, Marbella - Estepona. This was due to the close relationship maintained between the 5-star luxury Hotel and the local charity organisations, which helped develop new cultural as well as social events that served as fund raiser actions.
Some of the charity events that took place at the Kempinski Hotel Bahia in 2012 include the gala dinner "1 Tapa, 1 Tree" in collaboration with TapeArte (collecting over 20,000€, to be used to replant the trees in the areas affected by the big fire in Ojen and Marbella), the cocktail for the Concordia event in Marbella, the Fundaspandem gala dinner, the Christmas Decoration Course as well as the Christmas Culinary Market. This two day market has become a tradition in the Hotel that receives overwhelming visitors and includes local charity associations like "Nuevo Futuro", "Alzheimer", "Mujeres Solidarias", "Comedor Social de Estepona", "A.D.A.N.A." and "Fundacion Tutelar".
The Kempinski Hotel Bahia employees did not only contributed with their services at these events, but also donated toys and food for "Asociación Frente Bolillon" (No child without a toy) and "Comedor Social de Estepona".
These social actions of the Hotel have been rewarded with a prize from the Local Red Cross, which was awared to the General Manager Rüdiger C. Hollweg.
