Best international business company of Estepona

Kempinski Hotel Bahia is recognised for its fruitful entrepreneurial management by the Estepona city council.

In commemoration of Andalusia's Day on February 28th, the city of Estepona organised a business award ceremony for entrepreneurial recognition. Kempinski Hotel Bahia was awarded the best international business company of Estepona.

February 2014 – The city council of Estepona recognised Kempinski Hotel Bahia as the city’s most emblematic hotel, taking into special account its contribution to important aspects in the public and business life of the city. Kempinski Hotel Bahia is one of the few hotels in Costa del Sol that is open throughout the year, even during the winter season. This shows the hotel's clear commitment to stability in labour relations with its winter season 150 employees and nearly the 250 summer season employees, most of whom are citizens of Estepona.

The award also refers to the hotel’s unique design, nestled in 45,000 sq. m of subtropical gardens at the edge of the beach. The hotel is privileged to have been designed by Mr. Melvin Villarroel, one of the most reputed architects in Costa del Sol, an artist in combining nature and landscape. The hotel is a result of the perfect symbiosis of a building embraced by nature and a landscaped garden.
