Kempinski Bahrain Awards “Hoteliers of the Month”

Kempinski Grand & Ixir Hotel Bahrain City Centre Recognizes and Awards Six Outstanding Hoteliers for the Months of September, October and November 2013

Manama, December 08, 2013: Six outstanding hoteliers were recognized and awarded as “Hoteliers of the Month” for the months of September, October and November 2013 at Kempinski Grand & Ixir Hotel Bahrain City Centre.

Mr. Bhimsen Basnet, Waiter, and Mr. Merwyn D’Souza, Assistant Cost Controller, were awarded Hoteliers of the Month for September for Front of House and Back of House respectively. The October winners were Ms. Zainab Hussein, Front Desk Manager, and Mr Hari Rijal, Dry Cleaner, for Front of House and Back of House respectively. For November the top spots went for Maria Regalado, Guest Relations Supervisor and Glory Mora, Housekeeping Public Attendant.

The “Hoteliers of the Month” is an initiative started by the hotel’s Training Department in November 2012 to recognize remarkable employees who perform beyond their call of duty. Nominations are collected from staff members who submit stories of exceptional service. One member from Front of House and one member from Back of House are chosen every month by the entire staff team from the selection of nominees.

The six hoteliers were recognized at “Town Hall” staff meeting on December 8th, in front of approximately 120 fellow staff members. They received a certificate and a gift from Mr. Puneet Singh, General Manager.
