Kempinski Hotel Huizhou Holds Donation Activity for Sichuan Ya’an Earthquake Relief

In response to the magnitude 7.0 earthquake on 20 April that hit Lushan County in Ya'an city, Sichuan Province in China, Kempinski Hotel Huizhou took immediate action to help the people affected by this tragic event: held donation activity and collected RMB11, 000 as relief.

The devastating earthquake impacted at least 2.31 million people in Sichuan Province. The China Earthquake Administration reported 196 dead, 21 missing and 11,470 injured (as of 27 April 8:00am). Many houses have collapsed and electricity has been cut off. Tens of thousands of people lost their homes after the earthquake. In order to improve the enterprise's social responsibility, Kempinski Hotel Huizhou will send all staff’s heartfelt condolences together with all donations through The One Foundation to the victims of the earthquake and hopes that the people in the affected areas can have a quick recovery.

The One Foundation, full title Shenzhen One Foundation was registered on December 3, 2010, as an independent public fundraising foundation in China. One Foundation strives to provide a professional and transparent public service platform according to the vision of "It Starts with One" .
