Stop TB Partnership

Transforming the fight

Stop TB Partnership

Kempinski Hotels has been committed to combating Tuberculosis since 2008 through its involvement in the Stop TB Partnership hosted by the World Health Organization.

Kempinski started its collaboration with the Stop TB Partnership by distributing the Luís Figo Stop TB campaign postcards in the guestrooms of our hotels worldwide. Simultaneously, a work place training programme was introduced to educate staff about this disease, and how it can be treated. Since then, Kempinski hotels around the globe launch renewed workplace campaigns and activities every year on World Stop TB Day and all new staff receive training on tuberculosis. In 2011, Kempinski continued its guest and employee efforts by promoting the new Stop TB Partnership campaign supported by R&B musician Craig David ‘Trust Me’.

Kempinski’s aim with these campaigns is to spread the positive message that tuberculosis, if it is diagnosed and treated with effective medication, is curable.

Kempinski hopes, through its in-house Stop TB campaigns, to raise awareness for the Stop TB Partnership with both guests and staff worldwide.
