Summertime, jazzytime...The Montreux Jazz Festival starts next week!

Europe’s biggest jazz festival and the world's second largest jazz festival starts on 4 July and lasts until 17 July. More than 200,000 visitors can look forward to stars like Stevie Wonder, Pharrell Williams and Herbie Hancock.

This famous festival was founded in 1967 and since then, it has hosted stars like Aretha Franklin, Nina Simone, Miles Davis, Ray Charles, Marvin Gaye, Prince, Queen, David Bowie, Carlos Santana and plenty of other jazz icons. There is no doubt that all music lovers must attend this famous festival at least once in their lives. Two weeks of amazing music in the picturesque city on the shores of Lake Geneva is definitely a great way to spend the upcoming summer, don't you think?

Musique en été”, or ''music in summer'', is an annual music festival that offers classical, opera, jazz and world music presented by more than 350 artists from Switzerland and around the world. Starting on 26 June and continuing until 20 August, you can expect more than 32 concerts in outdoors venues, such as the Cour de l’Hôtel de Ville, Victoria Hall and the Ella Fitzgerald stage in Parc de La Grange.
