The Kempinski Hotel Gravenbruch Frankfurt could renew the certification in December 2009 and therefore it is for the second time a "VDR Certified Conference Hotel". For the certification 67 criterions, which are summarized in 7 categories, are to be fulfilled. Besides structural preconditions, an appropriate gastronomic offer and the general facilities of the hotel, the quality of services and processes are decisive for a successful certification.
“Especially the care services are strictly checked which are raised during the course of a meeting”, explains Jens Marten Schwass, General Manager of the Kempinski Hotel Gravenbruch Frankfurt.
This includes the reply of an enquiry within 24 hours, the availability of a contact person before, during and after the meeting as well as the rapid calculation of an invoice.
“The certificate gives our guests the certainty to have an reliable and actual quality valuation of professionals on hand”, so Schwass. “For this we work hard on the required standards.” During an audit on-site an employee of the VDR checks the realization of the required standards.
The VDR-certificate is valid for three years in which the VDR project office regularly checks the maintaining of the criterions. In December 2006 the Kempinski Hotel Gravenbruch Frankfurt received the certificate for the first time.
