The region presents a wide selection of possibilities. Some 13 forts and castles cap the surrounding hills of the Rhine valley, wonderful villas, cosy pubs and many small vineyards offering wine tasting are to be found along the way. The world famous beauty spot, Loreley, should not be missed as well as the city Rüdesheim with its Drosselgasse.
